The Berthe blouse pays tribute to Berthe Morisot, a leading figure of the Impressionist movement. She worked alongside Monet, Degas, Renoir, and other painters who founded the movement. An avant-garde artist who broke away from the academic system, she was a rebel who left her mark on history with her landscapes of Normandy, floral gardens, and pastel colors.

This loose-fitting blouse features raglan sleeves and gathers at the collar. The stand-up collar closes with a button and loop. The neckline is finished with a lovely keyhole opening that can be positioned at the front or the back.

The sleeves are voluminous and gathered into a cuff, which also fastens with three buttons and loops.

Due to the volume of the sleeves, they must be cut in two pieces for sizes 44 to 50 if using 140cm-wide fabric. If your fabric is 150cm wide, this modification is not necessary.

The blouse is constructed entirely using French seams, so no serger/overlocker is required.
